The Ohio State University has had seven Heisman Trophy winners. The school’s first winner was halfback Vic Janowicz in 1950. tailbacks Howard Cassady (1955) and Archie Griffin (1974, 1975) won back-to-back Heisman Trophies. In 1995, Ohio State quarterback Eddie George won the Heisman.
