Bachelor’s degree
The Bachelor’s degree is one of the most popular college degrees in the US. It is considered a prerequisite for many jobs and can lead to a higher salary. General certificate of education
The General Certificate of Education and secondary degree is a family of academic qualifications offered in the United Kingdom. The qualification is designed to give students access to university education in the country. It is taken after 13 years of combined primary and secondary education. In order to qualify for a GCE and secondary degree, a student must achieve at least three general independent subjects at A Level. This includes English, mathematics, and a further general education subject. Students must also take the IELTS test.
Before the introduction of the GCE, school leaving qualifications were separate. The Ordinary and Advanced level qualifications were based on a separate syllabus. They were administered by different Examination Boards. Although the Ordinary and Advanced level qualifications were discontinued in 1988, the GCE is still in place.
The GCSE system was introduced in 1986 as a national curriculum for schools. This scheme was designed to make sure that all pupils were leaving school with some form of qualification. All students must take English and maths, and the third subject can be from the list of general education A level subjects.
There are several awarding bodies, including the Learning Resource Network, OCR, Oxford AQA, Pearson, and Cambridge Assessment International Education. In addition, there are professional awards such as the BTEC National qualification, which consists of a series of vocational courses. Other awarding bodies such as the West African Examinations Council offer senior school certificates.

Other alternatives to certification include the Masters Plus Certification Plan and the Masters of Education (M.Ed.) program. These options allow you to earn a Master of Education or a Master of Arts in Teaching by completing the necessary coursework, passing state exams, and completing a practicum.
