The Politcal Science Department, Office of Educational Outreach, and ROTC has announced that SIUE will host a series of Veteran’s Tribute events from October 28, 2012 to November 1, 2012. The events will take place at the Museum located on the second floor of the Morris University Center. This is a first-time event for the University, although it is the hope of the departments that it will become an annual event for SIUE.
The goal of the Veteran’s Tribute is to pay homage to all military personnel from every war period during the 20th and 21st centuries and to thank them for their services to the United States. Sessions will be held during the Tribute dates at the Museum from 10 am to 3 pm to share their experiences as members of any branch of the United States military.
Veterans are welcomed and encouraged to bring artifacts that express their experiences as a member of the military. Any photos or objects that veterans would like to present are intended to further promote awareness of the human side of war to those at SIUE and within surrounding communities.
Any veterans wishing to share stories during a session and/or bring in artifacts for the Tribute should contact Cheryl Brunsmann, Assistant Director of Community Education Programs for Educational Outreach, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 618-650-3209, with the following information:

- Email address (if applicable)
